 BMB Promotions has been active in the business information and promotion market since 1990. Initially, our aim was to create the basis for a wide-scale exchange of information about Polish exporters to the countries of the former Soviet Union. In 1991, we began to publish the "Firmy Priedłagajut - Polsza" catalogue and today it is in its tenth edition.

In addition, in 1994 we began publishing a monthly entitled "Business is Everywhere" devoted to the subject of doing business in the eastern markets.

During successive years, we extended our promotion of Polish exports to German and English speaking markets, and published IHR GESCHÄFTSPARTNER-POLEN and BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN POLAND. In 1995, we initiated the publication of the series, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN POLAND - PROMOTION & INVESTMENT OFFERS, which promoted the investment offers of Polish districts and regions. In the same year, in addition to the catalogues, another effective means of data transmitting: a data base on CD.-ROM and the first Internet service, bmb.ippt.gov.pl, which was set up with the assistance of the Institute of Basic Technological Problems of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In September 1997, we made an e-mail address and an internet site available free of charge to all districts.

We are currently realising two comprehensive information programmes: the Polish Export Promotion Programme and the Polish Districts and Regions Promotion Programme.

We make full use of today?s most effective means of transmitting information, the Internet, and we have created and maintain the following services: Since 1990, we have been preparing the Poland Always Close To You albums for the EXPO World Expositions. These publications, published in several languages, were distributed at the Polish Pavilions at the expositions of Seville, Lisbon, Hanover and Aichi in Japan.

As a firm engaged in the active promotion of the Polish economy, BMB Promotions has earned the recommendation of presidents Lech Wałęsa and Aleksander Kwaśniewski. Among our permanent clients are the Ministry of the Economy (Promotion Department), Polish Economic and Commercial Section of Polish Embassies, and many business information firms from countries of the European Union.

Our services are used by the state administration, local self government institutions, business institutions and organisations, and individual clients.

Among our partners are the Ministry of the Economy, the National Foreign Investment Agency, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration, the Main Statistical Office, the Federation of District and Powiat Associations of the Republic of Poland, and Business Management & Finance, S.A.
